The most popular tractor in the Solis range is the Solis 26. At Bale Baron we’ve decided to do a Solis 26 review to show you the key features of these fantastic compact tractors.

To start there are 3 variations of the Solis 26, the manual with 6 forward and 2 reverse gears, the 9+9 with 9 forward and 9 reverse gears along with a forward-reverse shuttle, and finally the HST or Hydrostatic model. We stock all 3 variations and all have their own benefits depending on the application.

For example, the HST tends to be best suited for groundsmen as the hydrostatic gearbox allows the tractor to act as though it has a live PTO. Essentially this allows the operator to stop while the PTO is still running, a very useful feature when driving up and down sports pitches. Meanwhile the 9+9 forward reverse shuttle is very helpful if you’re doing a lot of loader work such as moving muck or bales of hay and straw on an equestrian yard. Finally the standard 26 manual has the smallest footprint of the 3 and is also the most budget friendly while still offering a good quality compact tractor.

Some of the key features of the 26 are listed below:

  • 3 Cylinder Mitsubishi Engine
  • 600kg rear linkage lift
  • 540 PTO
  • Choice of Tyres (Turf, HDI or Agricultural)
  • Standard cat 1 3-point linkage
  • 2WD/4WD
  • Power Steering

The Solis 26 is a very versatile and powerful compact tractor, at Bale Baron UK we hold stock of the full Solis range along with a large selection of implements to suit each size.
